Clinically Backed03
It's Clinically Backed as of February 2026
In February 2026, a peer-reviewed analysis published in the Journal of Ethnopharmacology reviewed 14 controlled trials on Terminalia arjuna extracts across 1,840 patients. The findings: subjects taking arjuna daily showed measurable improvements in systemic inflammation, energy, blood pressure, LDL cholesterol — without a single serious adverse event across any trial.
What surprised researchers most wasn't any single result. It was that the same leaf was improving all those markers simultaneously. Most compounds move one needle. Arjuna was moving them together — which the authors attributed to its unusual compound density: the triterpenoids acting centrally on the heart's workload, the polyphenols protecting vessel walls from oxidative damage, and the flavonoids keeping the arteries flexible enough to respond.
Three separate mechanisms. One leaf.
